My practice revolves around historical events, exploring the tension between established and overlooked narratives. I work with a variety of materials, such as my own photographs, archival imagery and literature, to weave them into new narratives and perspectives. My projects start with specific and often coincidental findings, which I use as departure points to gain insight into more universal notions of memory, history, storytelling and representation, while challenging photography as a tool of ideological processes.
